Lone has more than 20 years of experience in the medical device industry. Prior to joining Beta-O2 Technologies, Ltd, Lone was employed for 7 years as the VP Development at InSeal Medical Ltd., responsible for the development of a percutaneous Vascular Closure Device for large bore sheaths. Prior to InSeal, Lone served for 9 years as the chief engineer at Remon Medical Technologies, responsible for implant development and manufacturing. Prior to Remon, Lone served as the chief designer of coronary and peripheral stents and delivery systems at Medtronic InStent for three years. Prior to Medtronic, Lone spent nine years as a consultant to the aeronautical and defense industries and another nine years as a senior structural engineer at Pratt & Whitney Canada and at Israeli Aircraft Industries.
Lone holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manitoba, Canada. Lone is the principal or co-inventor of 14 issued patents relating to medical devices.
